The Candlepark Stars is all about one thing: pure happiness. Always bright, sometimes quiet but never dark, the music feels like the lovechild of Explosions in the Sky and a film composer. Washed-out electric guitars drive most of the songs, which are allowed to ramble on for as long as it feels like they need to ramble on to be able to complete the musical thought.
